Hi

I'm Shammara. Travel has been my passion since the first time I flew to Disneyland from Kansas with my family in kindergarten. Thanks to growing up in a multicultural family I was blessed to experience new cultures and countries at a young age. My dad's work also led my family to live and go to school in Thailand as a teenager. This expanded my love of travel and experiencing new cultures even more.

As an adult I realized that travel was what I loved most. I found myself always planning trips for my family and friends. I decided to pursue this passion and attended Central Penn Business College where I obtained my associates degree in Travel and Tourism in 2006. I also studied Hospitality and Tourism management at Harrisburg area community college and obtained my associate's degree in 2021.

In between my studies, I traveled as much as possible and tried a little bit of everything in travel, tourism, and hospitality over the years. I was a corporate and leisure travel agent. I worked customer service, gate and ramp with US Airways and American airlines. I worked at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon in tourism and Human Resources. I was an Assistant Inn keeper at a bed and breakfast as well as a front desk agent at a hotel. I truly wanted to experience every aspect of this exciting industry and I have loved helping people in each job.

In 2016 I took a break to focus on family. Now, 10 years later, I decided it is time to get back to my love of helping people travel! I was so fortunate to meet Kristin and learn about her family-owned travel agency. She has welcomed me in with open arms and helped me get back on the road to sharing my passion of travel with others again!!

I've loved exploring the world with my family and I'm excited to help others do the same! Whether it's a family trip involving an amusement park, an all-inclusive in a tropical place, a first-time cruise, a trip to Europe or Hawaii, a family reunion booked in some amazing new destination, an outdoor adventure style trip, a safari, a destination wedding, or a cross country train trip! You dream it and I am interested in helping you plan it! I'm looking forward to helping many more travel dreams come true!
